Volunteer Opportunities
Internships:
La Catalina offers a 9-month volunteer teaching internship position every year. The aim of this program is to offer the children the lifetime skill of becoming bi-lingual to enhance their future opportunities and cognitive processing abilities, while our teacher also receives the opportunity to acquire Spanish speaking skills, develop him or herself professionally as a language teacher and experience living in Mexico.

Volunteer Assistant Teachers:
We are looking for native English speaking volunteers to assist our Teacher Intern in the elementary and middle school classes. Volunteers for the fall/winter semester must be available to assist October through December and for the winter/spring semester from January to May. Hours can vary from 1 hour to 9 hours a week.
LCNLS volunteer work – Students studying Spanish at La Catalina Natural Language School may participate in their Volunteer Work Program where they participate in educational and community development projects while simultaneously practicing their Spanish speaking skills.
