Children's English and Art Summer Camp

Program Enrollment Fee: This program is highly subsidized.  Students pay only 60 pesos ($5 US) to attend the 3-week program.

Program Location : LCEF's Costa Alegre Educational Center

Program Description: LCEF's English and Art Summer Camp was launched in 2007. It is a very popular program and in 2011 LCEF had 29 students attend. Children range from grades 1- 6 and participate in physical education, English and art classes. The camp incorporates local Mexican teachers, Mexican volunteers and volunteers from the U.S. and Canada. Every year the children have expressed that they do not want the camp to end and they go home with new skills and happy hearts!
